At Harvest Lane Honey our roots run deep in beekeeping. We focus on Backyard Beekeeping and offering quality products.  

HLH has pioneered, designed and manufactured all of our hive products. We are the mill and employee a staff of skilled craftsman.  

We aren't just a company who sell beekeeping supplies. We are beekeepers who test and try all of our products in our own hives that we have located throughout the Tooele Valley of Utah.  

Our Mission

To help reverse the declining population of honey bees and ensure that there is a future for our industrious friends that make our planet beautiful and sweeten it with naturally pure honey.

Our Commitment

Is to make sure that we provide tools and equipment that will last years in the hive. All while sourcing as responsibly as possible. We want to save the bees but not kill trees in the mean time. We use sustainable forestry products.

To provide education and support to you as our consumer regardless if you purchased through a retailer or us directly. If you have questions about how to use a product or even beekeeping in general, reach out, we promise we will answer.

Press Release Hiring of VP of Operations

Harvest Lane Honey Announces the Hiring of VP of Operations July 28, 2020 SALT LAKE CITY- Harvest Lane Honey is excited to announce the hiring of another key member of our “Hive”, Mr. Brad Mecham, as Vice President of Operations. Brad has formally started in this new role as of July 27 th 2020. Brad comes to HLH with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Project Management. Brad is a Black Belt in Six Sigma as well as a Certified Manufacturing Technologist (SME). Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology with a Minor in Management from Brigham Young University. Brad has over 15 years in leadership in the manufacturing sector and will be focusing his efforts on improving operations, increasing production capacity, and implementing lean manufacturing. As Harvest Lane Honey continues to rapidly expand, we see this as a key hire to increase service levels to our customers and shorten lead times. “I am very excited to add one more key position as part of our growth strategy that started 3 years ago with our move to SLC to expand our facility, coupled with our hire of Dan Wort last year as our VP of Sales and Marketing. We have had our eye on Brad for a few years now and the time was just right to execute this hire,” stated Mindy Waite CEO/Co-Founder. Harvest Lane Honey was started in 2008 by Jason and Mindy Waite and Mike and Rhonda Wells. It started as a garage business and has since evolved into a multimillion dollar business. Waite said “I remember many days and nights with the 4 of us owners working side by side to produce and fill orders. We have long since surpassed this and have continued to expand”. 2020 has been the largest growth year for HLH. Waite states “I am grateful for the opportunity to be growing when I know so many other companies are struggling. I thank God every day for the opportunity I have to be working and continuing to employee good people. I am also very grateful to our retailers who continue to carry our products.”

Dan comes to HLH with a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise. Where he has spent the last 15 years in a key VP sales roll within the farm and ranch sector. Prior to that Dan has over 26 years in the sales and marketing sector with a special emphasis on new product development. Harvest Lane Honey continues to grow and expand and are committed to providing a better customer experience to their retailing partners. We are thrilled to be adding Dan to our team and look forward to getting to know him and his family. Dan fits perfectly into our hive and will bring with him a wealth of experience. This is part of 3 prong approach that we are committed to implementing over the next few years to launch Harvest Lane Honey to the next level.
