Learn how to make homemade Honey Apple Cider from scratch! This Apple Cider is great to have during the cold winter days, which will definitely get you in the holiday mood. Ingredients:

Apples – 8 medium (any variety)

Cinnamon – use 4 cinnamon sticks

Oranges — use 1 medium size orange

Whole cloves – use 1 Tbsp extra spice

Nutmeg – use a whole nutmeg

Honey – use 1/2 cup

Water – start with 10 cups and add more to dilute if desired
Directions:
Step 1: Slice the apples, and oranges then put in a large pot. (Don’t worry about the skins of the apples/oranges)
Step 2: Add all the spices together in the pot with apples/oranges.
Step 3: Put the honey and water in the pot. Make sure the water is covering the fruit.
Step 4: Bring the pot to a boil then reduce heat and uncovered for 1 hour. From there reduce the heat to medium/low. Cover the pot and have it simmer for 2 hours.
Step 5: After 2 hours of simmering the Apple Cider should be a light amber color. From there strain the Apple Cider and serve hot.
