Beeswax Deodorant

Beeswax Deodorant

We tend to like this deodorant better than most commercial brands because it gets the job done and lasts longer.

Ingredients:
  • ¾ ounces of beeswax
  • 2 ounces of coconut oil
  • ¾ ounce of shea butter
  • 2 Tbsp baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • ¼ cup arrowroot powder
  • 10-20 drops of tea tree oil (or any essential oil you want)
  • Empty deodorant containers
Directions:
  1. Place the beeswax, coconut oil, and shea butter in a measuring cup then put into a small saucepan with 2 inches of water.
  2. Make sure that it melts and looks like liquid.
  3. Remove the measuring cup and add the baking soda, corn starch, and arrowroot powder. Stir together well until smooth. Then add-in the essential oil and stir.
  4. Pour into the deodorant containers and let it cool and harden.
Enjoy using your homemade deodorant.
