Season your cast iron with beeswax! I know for me I thought it was a weird way to season a cast iron pan. I am the type of person that believes it’s not clean unless there is soap and water on it. Once I tried this, I have never gone back. This method makes my potatoes crispy, and crunchy like I have never had them before. Try this out on your cast iron today!
Ingredients:
- Beeswax block
- Cast iron
- Oven at 400 F
- Paper towel
Directions:
- Make sure that the oven is on at 400 F.
- Place the cast iron in the oven and the beeswax in the cast iron.
- Wait for 30 to 60 minutes for the wax to melt.
- Take out of the oven, and grab the paper towels. Spread the beeswax all over the cast iron. Wait 1 hour for it to cool.
You are done! Enjoy your seasoned cast iron!
